Entries: All entries are to be submitted via Milestat.
Entries open on 9/28/23. Enter only those athletes that will be racing. Entries Close at 10:59PM on 10/15/23. Enter only 7 athletes in the Varsity races and up to 12 boys and 12 girls in the coed JV race. Scratches and changes can be made on race day.
Timing: The race will be timed by SnapTiming using dual
Chronotrack chip. Chips with corresponding athlete bib numbers will be distributed during the pre-race coaches meeting. Coaches shall return the Chronotrack Chips to race timing company at the completion of the race. Coaches will be billed $20 for each chip that is not returned.
Parking: Due to King George school dismissal at 2:30, buses
should arrive on campus no later than 2:00PM to drop off athletes/coaches. Buses will then be
directed to an off-site location to park until after 3:00 PM.; at which time they can return to the high
school to park. Spectators should park in the lot in front of the football stadium. Spectators are asked
not to arrive on campus until after 2:30 to allow students and busses to depart first.
Team Tents: Teams may set up their tents in the area designated for tents on the field near the fence adjacent to the stadium. This area will be marked with flags for easy identification.
Course: The meet will be held on a challenging course that offers a blend of flat fields and rolling hills on grass, dirt and gravel surfaces. The course is marked with white arrows painted on the ground and blue and gold arrow signs posted on trees. Each mile is marked.

Awards: The top Individual runners in each Varsity race receives a medal and the top team in each Varsity race is award a team trophy.
Athletic Trainer: The King George athletic trainer will be on site to provide support to include ice bags, tapping and treatment for injuries. If multiple athletes will require tapping before the race, we ask that you please provide your own tape.
Facilities: Restrooms will be available at the football stadium. Water will be available at the finish line after each race.
Concessions: Available on-site featuring Carolina Smoked BBQ and hot dogs. Feed those kids before your leave so you don't have to stop on the ride home.
