Meet Information
Get ready for the most exciting meet of the year! Now nine years running, the RVA Relays is a meet you cannot miss with 20 banks of lights, string lights along the course, LIVE RESULTS, and an enhanced coaches' hospitality area!
That isn't it though... We have also moved the "open race" to just before the "A"races at 7:30pm and made it a "Glow Run" where all the coaches, parents, fans, and anyone else can compete. Just sign-up for it online!
Glow Run Information:
You can register for the Glow Run right here: GLOW RUN REGISTRATIONHigh School coaches can race for free. You must register though at the packet pickup tent to receive a bib. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to the state time (6:30pm).
The fee is $25 per person for this and $10 for the elementary/middle school races.

This meet will also provide great exposure for your teams and athletes with interviews of the winning teams, great photo coverage, and video coverage of all the races.
We ask that you have your five best runners run on the "A" relay team followed by your next 5 on the "B" team and then "C" team.

Course Description: The course is mostly flat terrain that is 95% grass. Every mile is clearly marked as well as every 1000 meters. This is on the upper course and not in the woods. It is very well marked and lit for both great racing but also safety. The loop will be 2500m

School Limits: We will be accepting the first 70 high schools who sign-up and pay.
Costs:
High Schools
$300 for entire team (this includes entries into every race)
$200 per gender (this includes entries into every race for that gender)
$10 per individual athlete for extras race
Middle Schools
$150 for entire team
$75 per gender
$10 per individual athlete
Open Races
$25 per individual
Payment Information
Payment can be made online for this event. We now accept online payments made directly through MileSplit. This will allow teams to pay via credit card without a setup account.
If your school is unable to pay online, that is not an issue, please reach out to Nolan Jez about checks and mailing them.

Entry Deadline: Entries will close online at 11:00pm the Sunday prior to the event. All entries and team roster submissions must be done online. NO EXCEPTIONS! Make sure that you have selected all runners from your roster who will be competing on race day by this deadline.
Check-In: All athletes and teams should report to their starting boxes 15 minutes prior to their race is scheduled to begin.
Awards: The first place team (for each gender), decided by overall placing in all three relays, will receive a team trophy. The winning "A" relay teams will receive custom RVA Relays backpacks. The fastest splits of the meet will also receive custom RVA Relays backpacks. Winners of the open races as well as the "B" & "C" relay races will receive medals.
T-Shirts: Short and long sleeve T-shirts will be for sale during the meet.
Concession: Multiple food trucks will be on-site selling food and beverages. Check out our favorite food truck and sponsor, Papa Johns before they sell out!
Parking: There is NO fee for parking at Pole Green Park! There will be two nearby lots (one smaller gravel lot closest to the course which will fill up early and another nearby adjacent large grassy field for majority parking). No buses will be permitted to park in the gravel lot and will need to park in the grassy field. Both parking areas are close walking distance to course and there will be parking volunteers directing you where to park and where for buses to unload and pick up.
Trainer & EMS on-site: We will have a certified trainer and EMS unit on-site for any injuries or emergencies. Please bring your own athletic tape. We we will have a sweeping gator utility vehicle in every race to pick up any distressed or injured runners on the course
