Time Schedule/Order of Events

All participants in shot, discus, long jump and triple jump will be given 3 attempts.    There will be NO finals.

Calls for the second round of field events will occur as the first rounds are finishing.  Triple Jump will be run as an open event after the conclusion of the long jumps.

THIS WILL ALSO BE THE SHS SENIOR NIGHT FOR TRACK & FIELD; THE SPECIFIC TIME OF THE SENIOR NIGHT WILL BE SHARED ONCE WE DETERMINE THE RACES OUR SENIORS WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THAT EVENING.

RESULTS:

RESULTS WILL BE READ THROUGHOUT THE MEET AND WILL BE POSTED ON MILESTAT AFTER THE MEET IS COMPLETED.   RESULTS WILL ALSO BE EMAILED TO ALL TEAMS.

Meet notes:

• A reminder a field competitor may scratch without penalty.  A running competitor may scratch from an event on the day of the meet and still be eligible to compete in other events for which he/she was registered.  Again, no substitutions are permitted. Violations of these rules will result in disqualification from the event and the rest of the meet

• Participants must report to the bullpen (in the middle of the field) by second call.  Absence for the 3rd call will result in a scratch for that event.  Only athletes in the bullpen are permitted on the infield.  All other  athletes, and spectators must remain in the stands. (Coaches may stay in the infield area to help monitor their athletes and get them back to the stands when needed)

PARTICIPANT LIMITATIONS

(See VHSL Guidelines for Participation Rules) athletes are permitted unlimited field entries and 3 running events, with the exception of athletes running the 3200m, who are restricted to two running events

• We will be having the athletes report to the bullpen by the 2nd call, and we will have the benches for athletes to sit on and then will be walked to the start line.

• All throwing and jumping events will get 3 attempts (Shot, Discus, Long/Triple)  No athletes should be hanging out in the infield area.
