The 2nd Queen Harrison Track Classic Invitational
Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Eight-lane all-weather, BRAND-NEW TRACK & FIELD!
This is a meet in honor of Hermitage High School alumni Queen Harrison for all her track accomplishments on the high school, collegiate and professional level. This meet is to support the youth and bring good competition to the central Virginia area. High School athletes come show the professionals who's number one in your event! Queen Harrison will be in attendance. Meet and greet with Queen and her Olympian friends! This a day of fast times and good times!
This will be a fun meet with Photobooth, Medal Engraving and live DJ!
The top announcer, Les, will be on the mic!

Entry Fees & Payment Information:
$350 per school (both teams) or $175 for a single gender. Team with under 10 athletes $15 per athlete.
All checks must be received TWO Weeks prior to the meet or you can bring the checks with you at packet pick-up.

Sanctioning: The Queen Harrison Track Classic Invitational is sanctioned for public schools from Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Private schools must contact Coach Patrick for approval to avoid sanction issues. This meet is only for grades 9th to 12th.

Packet Pick-up: Coach must pick up the team packet which will include heat sheets, coaches bands, coaches meal tickets. Payments can be made at the time of packet pick up.
Gates Open at: 7:00 AM
Coaches Meeting at: Virtual meeting will be held in two sessions on Thursday, May 1st in two sessions. Links will be sent out the week of the meeting and you can attend the time that works best for you.
The track closes at: 9:15 AM (Several places to warm up around and outside the track)
Field Events:
Field events will begin at 9:00 AM
4 attempts - no finals - for Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus
The first legal attempt is measured.
Athletes MUST check-in before the beginning of the event
and check out before leaving for their running event.

Scoring & Awards:
Scoring: 8 places 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Custom Medals for the top three individual place finishers and top three relays. There will be a TEAM TROPHY to the TOP team in the boy's and the girl's division. Medal Engraving will be available for $10 per medal. All Queen and Will Claye Invitational section will also receive winning plaques along with there medals for 1st place only.
Admission: $15.00 Adults | $8.00 Students | Free 5 & under Cash only at the Gate
All VHSL passes and Henrico County Badges (employee only) will be ACCEPTED

Concessions will be sold throughout the meet along with various food trucks, and vendors!
Custom meet T-shirts will be on sale.
Meet Timing: FAT provided by Final Lap Timing Group (www.finallaptiming.net)
Trainer on-site: There will be an athletic trainer on site. Please bring your own athletic tape.
Parking - Parking is $5 for spectators. No cost for Buses and may park in large parking area in front of the school. Parents and spectators parking on stadium right side of the school to the right of the stadium, with additional parking on visitor backside near tennis court.
