Meet Information

Where: Pulaski County Middle School 4396 Lee Highway Pulaski, VA 24301

Teams can arrive at 4:00pm (please do not arrive sooner due to school release. The meet will start at 4:30pm with field events and running events at 4:30pm.

Bus Parking/Drop-Off: Drop off athletes near track. There is 1 entrance/exit to the lot at PCMS. Buses should enter the PCMS entrance, follow the road and stay to the right around to the track and drop athletes. Parking for buses will be in the parking lot opposite end of the track from athlete drop-off. NO TEAM BUSES CAN ARRIVE BEFORE 4 PM.

Admission: $7:00 per person (CASH ONLY) each person entering the gate will receive a ticket that will allow them to leave and re-enter the facility. 

Concession Stand: We will have a concession stand and food tracks at the meet that will provide snacks, drinks, etc.

Spikes: Please use ONLY 1/4 in pyramid spikes, there will be no spike check so we ask coaches to make sure their athletes have the appropriate spike length.

Warm-up Area: Warm ups will be allowed on that track when not in use. When the running events start athletes may warm up  on the in field.

Trainer: We will have a trainer, but she will be used for emergencies only. 

Team Camps: Team camps will be on the far side of the track, opposite the spectator area. The front straight will be used as the spectator sides and NO team camps may be set up there.

Spectators: There are no seats for spectators but the area sits up on a hill allowing for great viewing of the whole track, we suggest you bring chairs, blankets etc. to sit on.

There will be no pole vault at this meet

VHSL rules apply.

Entries will be limited to 3 per running events & 4 per field events

Shot Put/ Discus - first throw will be marked, after you have to get the minimum in order for it to be measured

4:15 Coaches meeting

Field events and running events will start at 4:30pm

Girls Discus followed by Boys (4 throws no finals)

Boys- 100' / Girls - 60' minimum 

Boys Shot Put followed by Girls (4 throws no finals) 

Boys - 34' / Girls - 24' minimum 

Girls and Boys Long jump followed by Girls and Boys Triple Jump

(Long Jump open pit from 4:30-5:30)

(Triple Jump open pit from 5:30-6:30)

Girls High Jump followed by Boys - 5 Alive

*If an athlete is in multiple Field Events they will have to let the official running those events know
