Coaches,
In an effort to hopefully avoid bad weather and give everyone another chance at state qualifying efforts late in the season, we moved our high school meet to late April. It is our goal to make this meet as athlete friendly as possible, while allowing the athletes a great opportunity at a state qualifying effort later in the season.
The format of the meet will again be one day. In an effort to minimize the number of running, jumping and throwing that the athletes will do close to the postseason; we will keep with the format we used the last couple of years. We will only run timed finals in the sprint and hurdle events. We will also do a four jump finals format for the long and triple jump. We will also use a four throw finals format for the shot put and discus. This is our effort to help you fine-tune your athletes and not exhaust them, as you begin your run for the state championships.
In an effort to ensure quality heats, we ask that you please be accurate with your entries. All entries will be verified. Cost of entry into the meet is $150 per team or $250 for both men
