Entries: Meet entries are due to Milestat by Tuesday Jan 20th at 11:00p. Teams may enter up to THREE (3) athletes per event and ONE (1) relay team, with a roster size no larger than 28 athletes (boys and girls combined). Please be honest with entry times/distances to maintain the integrity of seeding. Entries must be submitted on Milestat, no other form of entries will be accepted. 

VHSL participation: athletes are allowed to compete in three running events (unless they are in the 3200m) unlimited field events. This meet is limited to VARSITY ATHLETES ONLY, no 8th graders. 

Scratches: Athletes may scratch from an event on the day of the meet and still compete in other events for which they are declared. Athletes already declared in 3 events may not scratch an individual event and be added to a relay. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification. 

Implements: Shots will be weighed and verified at the shot put area starting at 1:00 PM.

Check in/out procedure: athletes participating in another event will be given no more than 10 minutes to return to their event. After that time, their name will be called and they will have one minute to complete their attempt, or it will be considered a foul/scratch. If a flight has completed before the athlete returns, that athlete will forfeit any remaining attempts. In the VERTICAL JUMPS, the bar will not be held for a checked out athlete. Once all competitors are finished at the current height, the bar will go up. Athletes will be given a pass and will be allowed to take their remaining attempts at the next height.

Facility: 

  • 6-lane 200m rubber track, runways, and high jump area. No locker rooms available. Restrooms are located in the lobby. All teams must enter the facility through the garage door on the back side of the building. When leaving the meet, teams must exit in the same manner. All team camps will be in the Auxiliary Gym. NO SPIKES ALLOWED on the basketball courts or in the team area at any time. Coaches Boxes will be available,  No athletes in the coaches box. 

  • Spikes: 1/4" pyramid ONLY. All spikes must be checked between 1:00 and 4:00 PM in the Clerking Area. Please remove any zip ties from previous meets.

  • Admission: $10.00 for spectators. VHSL passes ONLY will be accepted. (Digital Tickets available HERE)

  • Concessions: Rockingham County Parks and Rec will offer concessions throughout the day. 

  • Timing/Results: Live Results provided by Blue Ridge Timing. A link will be provided as we near the day of the meet.

Miscellaneous: 

  • No changes (except scratches) after the entry deadline. Coaches are responsible for checking their entries prior to submission. 

  • Long/Triple Jump, Shot Put events will be 3 attempts and top 7 will move on to finals for an additional 3 attempts.

  • Starting Heights for HJ/PV: Girls - 4'2"/6'0" Boys - 5'1"/7'6"

  • Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 individuals and top relay. Trophies will be awarded to the top boys and girls teams upon completion of the meet.

  • T-Shirts will be available for sale by Tweedle Tees throughout the meet while supplies last.

  • Running events will be run from FASTEST to SLOWEST. Field events will be contested from lowest seed to highest seed)
