When: Friday, May 1st 2026

3:30pm: Gates open for visiting teams

4:00pm: Gates open for spectators

4:00pm: Coaches Meeting at timers tent

4:30: Field events begin

Shot Put: Boys first, girls second

Discus: Girls first, boys second

Girls long jump, then triple jump

5:00: Running events begin (Girls heats, then boys)

Registration:

This meet will be limited to 12-15 schools, depending on team sizes. When you register as a team, you are granted six entries for each event and one relay team per relay event. Athletes can be in no more than three running events (the 3200m counts as two) and no more than five total events, including field. The same limitations apply for those registering as individuals.

Entry Fees:

The cost for entries are as follows:

Boys / Girls only = $150

Boys and Girls combined = $250

Individuals: $15 per event

Unattached Relay: $30

Entry fees must be paid out to Fluvanna Middle School prior to the day of the meet. Checks can be made out to Fluvanna Middle School and mailed to 3717 Central Plains Rd. Palmyra, VA 22963 Attn: Marcus Carter.

Timing

The meet will feature fully-automated timing, courtesy of Blue Ridge Timing!

Live results will be available throughout the meet. Link will be provided later.

Check-in:

Check-in for races 400m and up will be at the tent outside the gate near the start/finish line.

Check-in for races 200m and down will be at the tent outside the gate near the 100m start line.

Runners in races where athletes break out of their lanes will get a number to put on their left chest.

Runners in races that start in their lane will not need to be given a number.

Athletes should check-in for their races at first call. They will be placed with their heat and placed on the line when it is their turn.

Spikes

Only 1/4-inch spikes or shorter are allowed on the track Any athletes who intend to race in spikes must get their shoes checked at the spike check tent and marked with a zip tie. Athletes who race or compete in spikes without a zip tie may be disqualified.

Awards

Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each event, including relays.

Athletes/coaches will be responsible for claiming awards (located in the press box). Results for each event will be announced as they become available. After the announcement, the athletes/coaches should come to the press box to claim their medal. If you think your team could win a trophy, do not leave without checking with meet officials!

Parking

Buses can pull through the gates of the stadium and drop off athletes next to our concession stand. Buses can continue down the road and park behind the stadium.

Tents

Visiting teams should plan to set up tents/camps on the away side bleachers or in the grassy areas outside the travel oval. Please do not set up any tents on the practice fields adjacent to the stadium as high school teams will need them for their practices.

Tickets

Tickets for spectators are $X and should be purchased online prior to the meet. Spectators can purchase tickets to the event here: (XXX) Your phone will then be your ticket. Tickets are $X at the gate.

Concessions will also be available! Come hungry!
