Entries- This is a VHSL-sanctioned meet, and as such, all teams must follow VHSL rules.
Varsity runners: grades 9-12. Maximum 10 runners per team in varsity races.
JV runners: grades 8-10. Unlimited entries in JV races.
NO 8TH GRADERS CAN RUN VARSITY RACES.
The entry fee is $150 boys' team and $150 girls' team
The entry fee is $250 for both teams
The entry fee is $15 per student athlete

Newport News Park Course
The 5000M course is located at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Ft Eustis Blvd.
Exit 250-B off of I-64. Follow the signs to Newport News Park.
The course has grass, gravel, and a paved road. Short spikes can be worn. Make sure to bring water for your athletes.
Buses may drop off and pick up teams at Newport News Park; however, buses are not allowed
to park at this location. Buses can park at Woodside High School main parking lot.
Time Schedule
Pick up packets at 7:00 am
Coaches' meeting at 7:40 am
Varsity Boys - 8:10 am
Varsity Girls - 8:45 am
Sub Varsity Co Ed - 9:20 am

AWARDS:
Trophies to the first three teams in all varsity races. Medals to the top ten individuals in all races. In the JV Co-Ed, the top ten males and females will receive medals. Due to the reason that VHSL does not govern over middle schools they are unable to register. ALL AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MEET.
