Entries:
Each school is allowed four entries per event. Only one relay per event per school will be allowed. VHSL rules regarding event limitations will apply. All athletes must belong to their high school team and must be accompanied by a coach from that school.

Submitting Entries:
All entries will be done through milestat.com. ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY TUESDAY, APRIL 5 AT 6 PM. A $50 LATE FEE WILL BE ADDED FOR ANY TEAMS NOT MEETING THIS DEADLINE.

1. Login or Register - You must have a user name and password for Milesplit. To get that, if you don't have one, click register in the top right gray MileSplit bar directly under the Universal Sports logo and search box.

2. Claim Your Team - If you haven't already set this up, you must be registered as a coach or team administrator to register for a meet. In order to get set up, you go to your team page, and at the top right, click Claim This Team. Choose either that you want to be a coach or team admin. Follow the instructions on that page. Apply and submit. Once you do that and are approved (usually within a few hours), you will receive a confirmation email and you'll be set to go to the next step.

3. Update Your Roster - If your team's roster is not already up to date, now is a good time to get any corrections made and add any additional athletes to it. Go to your team page, login, and you will see button that says "Team Administration" to the right of your team's name. Click that and then click roster on left hand toolbar. Enter or update your roster, adding any new athletes. To move graduated athletes to Alumni, simply add their graduation year and hit save.

4. Enter the Meet - Go to the season calendar and click on the green meet registration button of the meet you want to enter. Read and follow the instructions carefully and fill out the form completely. Once entered you'll see all of the available events/races listed out. To put your athletes into these events/races click the "Edit Entries" link by the event. On the following page, check the athletes you want in the race (putting in seed times if applicable), and click the save button at the bottom. Do this for each event/race. You will be able to change and update these entries until the entry deadline.
Athletic Trainers: Some space will be available for your team trainers and we will be providing an athletic trainer for limited assistance.

FROM 29 NORTH (from Danville, Va.) - Take 29 North to Lynchburg. After passing the Lynchburg Regional Airport on left, merge right onto 29 North/460 East. Go one mile to the Liberty University/Candlers Mountain Road/Route 670 exit, which will be on your right. Go straight through the stop sign and make your first right, crossing the bridge onto the main Liberty University campus.

FROM 29 SOUTH (from Charlottesville, Va.) - Take 29 South to Lynchburg. Merge onto 29 South/460 West just outside of Lynchburg. Take the second Candler's Mountain Road exit, entitled Candlers Mountain Road/University Blvd. Turn left at light onto University Blvd. and continue straight to enter the main Liberty University campus.

FROM 460 EAST (from Roanoke, Va.) - Take 460 East to Lynchburg. 29 North will merge with 460 East. One mile later, take the Liberty University/Candlers Mountain Road/Route 670 exit, which will be on your right. Go straight through the stop sign and make your first right, crossing the bridge onto the main Liberty University campus.

FROM 460 WEST (from Richmond, Va.) - Take 460 West to Lynchburg. 29 South will merge with 460 West just outside Lynchburg. Take the second Candler's Mountain Road exit, titled Candlers Mountain Road/University Blvd. Turn left at light onto University Blvd. and continue straight to enter the main Liberty University campus.

FROM I-95 (from Richmond, Va.) - Take I-64 West to Charlottesville, and then take 29 South from Charlottesville to Lynchburg. (See above directions from 29 South.)

Entry Fees:
An entry fee of $100 per team ($175 for boys and girls teams together)
OR
Individuals: $5 per event or $20 per relay

Five or more student-athletes are considered a team.

This is an entry fee, not a participation fee.

ADMISSION:
There will be a $3 admission fee to all spectators.

Awards:
The first three places will receive medals in each individual event and first place relay teams will receive an award baton.
The first and second place teams will each receive a trophy.

Scoring:
The first six places will score. The standard point distribution of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 in each event will count towards the overall team score.

Seeding:
There will be SEMIFINALS in the following RUNNING events: 100 DASH, 110/100 HURDLES! These events will be randomly seeded.

All other running events will be run as timed finals slow to fast. Finals in FIELD EVENTS will be the TOP EIGHT. Please be as accurate as possible with your entry marks! Field event seeding will be least to greatest.

Long/Triple Jump:
Each jumper will be given three (3) jumps each in the preliminaries. Three (3) more jumps in the finals

High Jump:
The five-alive format will be followed. Please consult the VHSL officials handbook for more information. Starting heights for girls: 44, boys 54.

Throws:
All throwers will be given three each in the preliminaries. Three (3) more throws will be given in the finals. Implement weigh-in begins at 9:00 AM- see tentative schedule.

Multi Events information:
Sanctioning:
The decathlon and heptathlon have both been sanctioned through the NFHS for all Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee schools. Teams must have permission from its individual school to compete in the javelin section of the multis. There will be a 30 minute instructional and practice session at the end of the first day of competition.
Implements:
For the heptathlon all of the implements will be the same as high school including hurdle height. In the decathlon we will use high school height hurdles (39), 12 lb shot put, 1.6k discus and college specified javelins. Each school is responsible for providing its own implements and pole vault poles.
Schedule:
Day 1 will start at 3pm on Friday. There will be approximately 30 minutes between the end of one event and the start of the next event.
Day 2 will start at 10 am on Saturday.

Decathlon- 100, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 400
Heptathlon- 100 hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200
Day 2 (April 9)
Decathlon- 110 Hurdles, Discus, Pole Vault, Javelin, 1500
Heptathlon- Long Jump, Javelin, 800

Entry fee for the decathlon is $15 per athlete

Spikes:
Spikes no longer then inch will be allowed. Immediate disqualification will result if longer spikes are used. Coaches, please help us with this!

Concession Stand:
Vinnies will be doing the concessions for the track meet out of their truck. They will have pizza, snacks and drinks.

Coaches Hospitality:
There will be lunch available in the hospitality area for coaches only . Please check your team packets for tickets. First come-first serve
