2011 Quad States Invitational Cross Country Meet
WHERE: Woodgrove High School, 36811 Allder School Road, Purcellville VA 20132
WHO: Teams from Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland & Pennsylvania
WHEN: Saturday, October 15, 2011 - 1st Race @ 12:00 noon
COURSE: Flat to rolling grass/dirt on 120+ acre school campus. Spectators/coaches can view 90+ % of race from one vantage point & can be "on the rail" as runners pass 3 times during the race (in addition to start/finish) with minimal (< 100 yards) of walking. Ease of access to 1-mile & 2-mile splits for coaches/managers. If you feel the need for speed, this is your course.
ENTRIES: Please submit roster at www.runhigh.com after 08/01/11. Entry fees are $225/school (girls & boys teams) & $175 per single gender team. Entries must be received by Monday, October 10, 2011. Make checks payable to "Woodgrove High School." Mail checks to WHS, Attn: Scott Burns/Quad States Invitational.
RACES: Girls & Boys races as follows: JV-Freshman/Sophomore, JV-Junior/Senior, Varsity.
AWARDS: Trophies - 1st/2nd/3rd in all races. Individual medals - 25 deep in all races.
T-SHIRTS: Available for sale at the meet.

FACILITIES: You may bring a tent, but cannot stake it if located on turf practice field. There will be portable toilets and the girls & boys locker rooms will be open). Please pick up your trash before leaving the meet. Athletic trainers will be on-site. Please bring your own tape.
DIRECTIONS: From Shenandoah Valley - I-81 North to Route 7 East to Round Hill exit. Left in "downtown" Round Hill on 719 north. Right on Allder School Road. Thru traffic circle @ 690 then next right into school.
From Winchester & points west - Follow Shenandoah Valley instructions starting with Route 7 east.
From Maryland & Pennsylvania & points north - I-81 south to Route 7 east then follow directions above or I-70 to Frederick to US340 west towards Harpers Ferry. Take the Brunswick exit (Route 17) into Brunswick. Follow 17 across Potomac River - Road becomes VA287. Follow 287 south past Lovettsville & Route 9 to right onto Allder School Road. School is about 2 miles on the left.
From Fairfax & Loudoun Counties & points east. Take Toll Road/Greenway (Route 267) west past Dulles Airport to Leesburg. Take Route 7 west from Leesburg to Purcellville exit (Route 287). Turn left @ bottom of ramp. Take next right onto Hirst Road. Take next right onto Purcellville Road. Take 2nd left onto Allder School Road. School is about 3/4 miles on the left.
From Points South - Take I-95 to 267 (Dulles Toll Road) & follow directions above or take I-66 to US15 North (Haymarket exit) to Leesburg. Then take Route 7 west & follow directions above.
LOST?: Call Coach Ciccarelli. He's really good with directions.
