2008 MileStat.com Elite Track Gala

The third annual MileStat.com Elite Track Gala returns on Saturday, June 7th in Richmond, Virginia with plenty of excitement as the meet continues to grow into one of the nation's top post-season track meets for high school athletes. The 2007 Gala featured a slew of outstanding meet records set, a US #1 and sub 1:50 800 meter performance by Dylan Ferris, a handful of US top 10 performances, and a thrilling and unique close to the event with the All-Star DMR. The meet is expected to only grow in numbers and talent for this year's edition with many of Virginia's best and out-of-state competition seeking a great meet for their post-season plans.

PREFERRED ENTRY: Online Entry Registration Link

ALTERNATIVE ENTRY: PAPER ENTRY FORM (PRINT OFF AND MAIL IN WITH ENTRY FEE)

Dylan Ferris of East Forsyth NC ran a US #1 1:49 800 at the 2007 Gala

The meet is also of importance to the entire Virginia high school community as it helps financially support MileStat.com, which many have grown to rely on as their one-stop source for information, news, results, and coverage of Virginia high school cross country and track. Not only will you be getting an opportunity to end the season on a high note with a potential personal best, competing in a new event, or running for regional and classification pride on an All-Star team, but also helping to make sure that this site continues on as well as grow in providing the best possible coverage of our great sport in Virginia.

We hope that you decide to join us on Saturday, June 7th in Richmond, Virginia for a fun, yet competitive Gala of track and field action!
