Born Dec. 30, 1945 on my mother's 25th birthday.Played football, baseball and track at Elkton High School, Elkton, Va. Ran indoor and outdoor track at the University of Richmond..was team captain in 1968. Member of UR 440 and 880 relay teams which set and still hold school records as 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams. Coached indoor and outdoor track at JFK HS in Richmond from 1968-1971. Coached cross country at EC Glass from 1971 to 1988. Coached indoor and outdoor track at EC Glass from 1971 to 2012. Still teaches math part-time at EC Glass. Member of EC Glass Athletic Hall of Fame. Certified USATF official. Long time meet director, especially regional indoor and outdoor meets. Married to Betty Camden and have two grown sons, Jim and David.Currently does paperwork for EC Glass and runs FAT system for EC Glass home meets. Edits Track Honor Roll for local newspaper.
