Boys Triple Jump - Lakeland senior Anaquan Peterson has accomplished a lot in the past year including regional titles and All-American honors, but Friday will be seeking one feat which he has yet to accomplish in his first state championship. Peterson was a state runner-up one year ago at the indoor state championships with a personal best mark of 48'7.50". He has yet to better that performance since, but has been a consistent performer as he comes in as the top seed at a season best mark of 47'6" from the Virginia Tech Invite along with several other meets over 47 feet this season including a recent mark coming at the Eastern Region Meet.
