Caroline Alcorta just missed All-American honors last fall in her first Foot Locker Nationals appearance with a 16th place finish in San Diego. The West Springfield rising senior did not miss out on All-American honors last month in Greensboro, North Carolina at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals when she ran one of the faster times in state history at two miles with a 10:19 PR performance for fifth place. Alcorta's 17:19 5K PR from the Foot Locker South Regional last November ranks her as the fastest returning 5K runner in the state of Virginia for the upcoming 2013 cross country season.
