We left off Atlee senior Nathaniel Hall last week's Cream of the Crop XC Rankings somewhat accidentally, but we didn't make the same mistake twice this week as the two-time Central Region cross country champion reminded us why he should be considered one of the state's top cross country runners with a 3rd place finish of 15:56 at Maymont in the invitational race as the highest finisher from Virginia to elevate himself to a #4 ranking in Virginia. Following an injury-plagued track season, Hall has raced only twice this fall, but both have been quality performances with a 16:33 runaway victory at Woodberry Forest and then defeating a good number of top 25 ranked individuals in Virginia at Maymont.
