Virtual Meets: 6A - 5A - 4A - 3A - 2A - 1A

This weekend could be another part in one of the greatest dynasties our state has ever seen with Maggie Walker going for the perfect six for six XC team titles. They have won all four team titles to be contested at 2A and won both girls' individual titles. The only thing missing from this long list of accolades is a boys' individual title but this could be the year. Leading the way for all 2A boys is Ryan Buscaglia (Maggie Walker - junior) at 15:50 who is then followed by senior teammate Evan Fisher at 16:05. The only non-Maggie Walker athlete to enter the top five is John Easton a sophomore from Lebanon who enters the competition as the third ranked individual.

With this stellar talent and depth comes a strong position as the heavy favorites to win the boys' and girls' team title.

Though the Maggie Walker Boys bring four guys inside the top five, the girls show them up by entering the meet with the first, second, third, and fourth ranked girls in 2A. Emma Call seeded at 18:15 is by far the favorite for this race but might have to race her teammate and defending champion Khloe Pointer down the stretch for that individual title. Archana Shekharan (Maggie Walker), Willa King (Maggie Walker), and Skylar Bragg will all look to push and likely work together to keep the the race close to give them a shot at chasing down Call who has made a strong legacy as one of the toughest 1000m runners in the state.

The Maggie Walker teams are chased in both races by Floyd County who come in as the second seeded teams.

Though Maggie Walker and others are in a much smaller classification, the accolades they are accomplishing and achieving cannot go unmentioned as some of the greatest all-time.
