Konrad had an amazing season and even more impressive rise to the top. He won six races this year after having only won seven track events the past two years. He was the king of the southeast by winning the Newport News Invite, William & Mary Invite, and 4A East regional. He was the runner-up at states to Drew Hunter as Lafayette, just like Loudoun Valley moved up to 4A this season.
Konrad skipped out on Foot Locker South to move his focus to track which is surely going to be one great season. Pending something crazy happening at FL Nationals, Konrad will be the top returning athlete next year based on time as he sits as VA #1 for juniors and VA #4 overall.
