LINCOLN, NE -- Jessica Marie Kinney from Judson High School (Converse), one of the top five sprinters in South Texas who recently finished 3rd in the 100m dash at the South Texas AAU Championships will be competing in the 60m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash and Long Jump. Shanta Bibbs from Clark High School (San Antonio) was the 2001 AAU National Champion in the High Jump (5'6") will be competeing in the 60m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash and the High Jump. Ashley Thompson from Reagan High School (San Antonio) was a 2001 AAU Junior Olympic Qualifier in the 800m run will be competing 60m dash, 200m dash and 400m dash. Erica Yates from Highlands High School (San Antonio) was one of the premier sprinters in the San Antonio area will be competing in the 60m dash, 200m dash and 400m dash. All four young ladies will be making up a top-notch 4x200 relay team.
Kelly Cordell from Houston Memorial High School will be running the 800. She had a second place finish at the Texas State Track Meet with a 2:08.48 in the event.
