Ever since Heather won her first race of her high school career, we all knew it was going to be a huge career. Through just three years Heather has tallied up an impressive nine state titles with a staggering five titles just last year. When you combine that with her undefeated record against her peers and a 16:56 personal best you 100% get why she is the undeniable preseason number one.

Heather showed us a lot of range last year and we are very excited for what could be in store this year too. She tallied up five XC wins last year and was the runner-up at Foot Locker South. You can bet her top two goals for the season to follow those by winning Foot Locker South and States yet again.
Her toughest competitors will be Rachel Northcutt and Emma Wolcott (who isn't in her classification anymore) but over both she holds winning records. This year could really become all about Heather Holt and it is all on her shoulders. That's the price of stardom, she will have a target on her back but thus far no one has been able to even get close enough to hit the target and that is likely the case this year as well.
