The VA Showcase (Lynchburg, Va.) has announced it has added an entire day of youth competition. This competition will follow the high school meet and will be run on Sunday January 20. It will feature age groups of 8 & Under through high school ages on Liberty University's new hydraulic 200 meter track.
The VA Showcase has featured high school athletes from over a dozen states and Jamaica and for the past two years has produced over 30 US No. 1 performances, five National Records, and two U20 World Records. The event is expecting similar levels of competition for the youth meet as well.
Entered already in the youth portion of the meet are athletes from NC, SC, VA, WV, TN, KY, MD, DC, FL, GA, MA, NY, and others. It is expected to be the only meet all year that will feature youth athletics on such a high stage.
The VA Showcase is being streamed LIVE on FloTrack and meet management has confirmed youth athletes will also receive custom bibs for every single athlete.
