10 Athletes Who Could Win Their First State Title

Kahorie Batten

Surry County - 1A - 100/200/LJ

Believe it or not, Kahorie boasts personal bests of 10.71, 21.55, and 22-9 and hasn't won a state title yet. That is because he has had some pretty huge improvements this year. That should of course spell him also having his best state meet yet.

Kahorie also has the added advantage of having lost some races this year against athletes from some pretty big schools. That experience with competition should be his biggest competitive advantage heading into finals on Saturday.
