According to our findings in the VHSL record book, a triple like this had never before been achieved. Many athletes have tried and a few have been able to win two-thirds of the events but never has an athlete won all three until Grace on Saturday.

The first day of the Class 3/4 State Track championships came to an early end on Friday as lightning brightened the Lynchburg region with the final events taking place at Osborne Stadium, on the campus of Liberty University.
