Brief Summary - A tight team battle between the West Potomac girls and Thomas Jefferson girls as the the 2008 Northern Region champions from TJ made it a much closer than previous meets with the return of Sarah Stites, while West Potomac did not have Kelsey Rosenberg due to SAT's. Thomas Edison junior Myah Hicks won in a swift time of 18:18 at Bull Run Regional Park, while Robert E. Lee's Natnael Meseret held of St. Alban's Tom Harrison for a 15:39 victory. Harrison led his DC school to a runaway team title with 64 points as the West Potomac boys were a distance runner-up with 137 points.
