Meet Information & Registration
Virginia's largest, fastest, and most competitive high school cross country invitational is just over two weeks away in the 2023 MileStat.com XC Invitational to be held Saturday, October 14th at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
The meet is drawing not only the best from all corners from the state of Virginia but elsewhere including nationally ranked caliber squads in the Cardinal Gibbons and Mount Tabor girls of North Carolina as well as the Calvert Hall College boys of Maryland.
There will be even a team coming all the way from Florida in the Cambridge Christian squad as their girls team currently ranks as the fastest time in their state with a team average of 18:56 and two years ago finished 15th at the RunningLane National Championship race and has a state title and state runner-up finish to show from their last two seasons.
States represented in the meet registration include DC, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. If any runners and teams from other states would like to attend, need to contact meet management at milestat@gmail.com so we can apply for state sanctioning for your state.

Last year's meet saw five boys break 15 minutes led by Charlie Ortmans of The Potomac School setting a course and meet record in 14:40. This year's race could potentially that number of 5 under 15 challenged again including two who have already gone under the time this season in Tyler Surface from North Raleigh Christian Academy and Cameron Davis of Calvert Hall College with a handful of others entered having run in the low 15 minute range.
The elite race girls produced a thrilling finish between two Foot Locker finalists and future ACC bound college athletes in Leah Stephens (16:54) of Good Counsel and Thais Rolly (16:58) of McLean both breaking 17 minutes for the first time and taking over as the top two performances ever in meet as well as course history. A total of 11 girls broken 18 minutes behind them.
