In Friday's 4x800 meter relays, the fastest times came from the silver division comprised of the smaller schools. The Jamestown boys posted a time of 8:17.96 without featuring their national champion miler Colin Mearns, while the Maggie Walker girls won their section by 27 seconds with their performance of 9:47.82. More to come from CNU as Saturday's events should produce quite a few state leaders with many of the Eastern Region's best making their outdoor season debuts.
