Woodside senior Brandon Burton (pictured above by Ryan Kelly) continued where he left off from in the indoor season by dropping another second from his PR 1:53 All-American run at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships with a US #5 1:52.6 800 meter performance on Saturday at the CNU High School Captain's Classic. Many state leading performances and automatic state qualiers were recorded in the meet, which was the largest in the state to date this spring with 1,200+ athletes competing. A great duel in the girls 200 meter dash between two of the state's best in Keilah Tyson of Western Branch and Monica Williams of Green Run.
