Photo by Ted Plunkett At the Monroe Parker Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, the individual race for first among the boys was a thriller between Chantilly's Chris Foley and Thomas Edison's Leoule Degfae with both runners timed at 15:27 on the 2.98 mile course. With Degfae being more middle distance geared as a 1:54 half miler, it was a surprise for the crowd at Burke Lake to see the All-State 2 miler Foley reel in Degfae in the final loop to the finish and sprint past him for the win in the final strides.
