Previews for the women's 3K and men's 5K races slated for Saturday evening at the US Junior Nationals in Eugene.

Now that the MileStat individual athlete awards have been released it is now time to release the MileStat All-State Teams. These include first, second, and third team all-state selections with each athlete being allowed only one team slot through all the events. 

Three All-American relays and six event winners from Virginians in only the first day of action at New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Check out all the top finishers from Virginia and how they did only here. 

After the last gun has gone off and the smoke has slowly cleared the state meet was officially over. Though it is now over and all the fans have left Todd Stadium, what happened there has not changed. Here is the complete recap of this past weekend's action that took place at Todd Stadium in Newport News. 

In the first ever installment of this double state meet for outdoor track there are a million and a half storylines to be looking at. Below and throughout this piece are some of the highlighted previews of events and the entire competition to come this weekend. Starting with the larger of the two, VHSL Classification 6A which is then followed by the equally talented 5A Classification.

With three regions now reporting results the times are quickly picking up and the leaderboards are being systematically rewritten. Check out all the changes and where everything stands now with the majority of the finals and fast races to come this weekend.

In the very loaded 3200 meter races Virginians placed well and ran very fast. This included the top four 3200 marks in the state for both boys and girls. This is the full recap how Virginians faired at this meet.

Despite being a completely new regional championship many of the former AAA Northern Regional teams came in with a sense of not only setting meet standards for the new meet but for expanding on the already illustrious history of this meet.

While the majority of Virginia high school indoor track & field conference championship meets do not begin until the first and second weeks of February, three conference championships from the 6A North Region are getting underway this weekend. Conference 7 is being held on both Friday & Saturday at Episcopal School in Alexandria, while day one events for Conference 5 & 6 are being held at PG in Landover, Maryland on Friday before resuming day two events next Thursday, January 30th.

Virtual meet indoor track & field rankings for each of the two regions for the VHSL Group 6A classification. Bethel's Nehemiah Lipford started off his senior year with a breakthrough performance in the high jump at the Real Deal Classic in early December with a personal best clearance by two inches at 6'5", which still leads all high jumpers in the 6A South Region.
