The Fork Union boys and St. Catherine's girls successfully defended their VISAA state track team titles on Saturday at St. Christopher's School in Richmond. The Liberty Christian boys were upset by Woodberry Forest in the 4x400 at meet's end, but had the top two finishers in the 400 dash finals earlier with great times from William Miller (48.49) and Duane Cargill (49.39). Trinity boys swept the top 3 places in the 3200 and were led by senior Guy Shelby clocking in at 9:27 for the 8 lap event.
