Deep Run's Grayson Reid had a breakthrough performance to win his first major invitational against seven higher ranked runners at the William & Mary Invitational with a time of 15:59 to throw his name in the hat as a contender in the Central Region as well. Meanwhile, two of the state's best girls in Caroline Alcorta of West Springfield and Katie Fortner of Cave Spring dueled it out in Williamsburg.
