Monroe Parker Invitational 2013
Coaches Please confirm your transportation; Buses will drop off athletes no later than 7am at the park; Buses will then move to Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy (6401 Missionary Ln, Fairfax Station, VA for duration; approximately FCPS 10 buses will shuttle parents and spectators to the park; they will also be available after the last race to transport spectators and parents back to their cars. All parents and spectators are required to park at the church and take the shuttle unless they have a parking pass
o Please make your parents aware that there is NO parking at the park
o Each school will receive 5 parking passes
First Aid
4 Fairfax County ATCs on site with 2 additional EMTs and ambulance on the grounds
Safety
Police will be at the park for security
Bikers Does anyone have 2 volunteers?
Each participant will wear chips on both shoes. As the runners cross the finish line, numbers will be given to contestants at the end of chute. Coaches are instructed to collect numbers, total lowest five (5) on tally sheet and return all cards and the tally sheet to scorers table. The finish line will also be videotaped by course official.
Awards/Medals
15 medals to top finishers for each race in Frosh, JV and Varsity Races; 3 trophies for top teams in Frosh and Varsity Races only.
Medal are given out as runners exit the chute and team trophies are presented immediately following the last race
Packets: Each participant will wear one chip. As the runners cross the finish line, numbers will be given to contestants at the end of chute. Coaches are instructed to collect numbers, total lowest five (5) on tally sheet and return all cards and the tally sheet to scorers table. The finish line will also be videotaped by course official.

Clean-up
