So far this calendar year it has only taken Loudoun Valley sophomore Andrew Hunter 20 laps to lead the state both in the 1600 and 3200. Earlier this month, in his first major race of the outdoor season, Andrew ran his way onto the top of the state leaderboard with his 4:14.60 1600.

Congratulations to the following athletes and relays at this past Saturday's VISAA State Indoor Championships automatically earned invitations and guaranteed spots to compete at the 2014 Virginia Meet of Champions set for Saturday, March 8th at the Boo Williams Sportsplex via their top three finishes at their state championship meet. In order to accept the invitations and declare their intent to compete in the Meet of Champions though, coaches or the individual athletes and/or parents on their behalf must enter the meet online through the meet entry page and pay their entry fee ($10 per individual/$40 per relay) by the Monday, March 3rd 6 PM entry deadline on the meet page here.
