Olympians Allen Johnson and Alan Webb got a glimpse of possible future Olympians at Saturday's Allen Johnson Invitational with the likes of athletes such as Sean Holston and Mike Spooner. Johnson, had a strong high school career at Lake Braddock, but much of his success and improvement came as a professional post-college athlete and was certainly not dominant as the likes of Holston back in his high school days. Holston had a fantastic sprint double at the meet named after the Olympic medalist Johnson as he opened with a US #3 and personal best time of 46.55 in the 400 meter dash and followed that run up with the nation's fastest time for 200 meters at 21.07. However, without a wind gauge at the meet, Holston's team will not stand as the official US #1 as a legal wind reading is needed in order to count as a national leading performance. AJ and Webb also saw the great sportmanship exhibited by Holston as pictured left with Holston walking off after his 400 win with Lake Braddock's Chris Letson and Westfield's Kevin Dillard. All performances are entered to rankings and athlete profiles.
