Meet Information
The Hogoheegee District Cross Country Championships will be held at Sugar Hollow Park in Bristol, Va on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018. Registration is open on milestat. Please have your entries in by the deadline which is Saturday, October 20th, at 11:59 p.m.
Along with doing the entries online, you will need to fill out the district entry form sheet which can be found on the VHSL website and either fax them to me at 276-944-2125 or scan them and e-mail them to me at mlove@wcs.k12.va.us. Go to www.vhsl.org. At the top of the page click on forms, then click on athletics, then cross country, then cross country district entry form.
The top two teams plus the top 15 individuals not on the top two teams will advance to the Region D Cross Country Meet which will be held at Sugar Hollow Park on Tuesday, October 30th.
The course will open at 2:00 with the coaches meeting at 3:00 and the girls varsity race beginning at 3:30. This will be followed by the boys varsity at 4:00 and the combined middle school/JV race at 4:30. Awards will be at 5:00.
Regional meet entry forms must be filled out and turned into me before you leave. This form can be found on the VHSL website right below where the district entry form is located. You will also have copies of this form in your packet.
