Riverbend senior Jaren Holmes is coming for all the points this weekend. He enters the Group 6 Championships as the favorite in both the long and triple jumps and also as a contender in the high jump as well. Indoors he won both horizontals and finished 4th in the high to tally up 25 points.

Friday's events at Class 5/6 did not disappoint. They were so good in fact that over the course of the four 4x8 finals, it took only 4.6 seconds to decide all three races with one coming down to a photo finish. You can check out the races below.
In day one's competition that same dynasty saw the Titans take home 23 points in the girls discus.

Arguably the biggest performance from States this past weekend was actually three performances by Riverbend senior Jaren Holmes.
The Warriors of Nansemond River held on Saturday to make it a sweep of titles for defending champions.
