VA Commonwealth Games High School T/F Opener December 21-2019, Liberty Indoor Track Complex:

The VA Commonwealth Games High School Track Meet ranks as one of the best high school meets in Virginia to compete.

Track Warmup Time: 8:30

Opening ceremonies 8:45 Recap of State Games/National Anthem

Meet Start Time: 9am

Registration Closes: December 18th (11:59 pm)

Note: All out of state schools must register early for VHSL clarification.

North Carolina, , DC, or Maryland high school can enter this meet. Not open to Unattached Athletes

Sanctioning: This meet currently is sanctioned for participating Virginia High Schools (this includes Virginia Private Schools, but does not include home-schooled students).

Entries: Unlimited Entries- Please enter through Milestat

Entry Closing Date: December 18th- Midnight

Entry fee: $350.00 covers girls&boys teams / unlimited relay teams (please note) The entry Fee $350.00 is a flat fee, whether you have a girls team or a girls and boys team.

Athlete Check-In:

All field event athletes will be required to check-in at their event site 15 minutes prior to the scheduled

start of their event. All running event athletes must declare 30 minutes prior to the start of their race. .

Implements:

Implement weigh in will take place at the site of competition. All implements must be checked in an hour before the event starts in order to be used. All implements must meet participants age-appropriate rules (NHFS)

Starting Heights:

B/G High Jump- 5-06/4-04 then by 2

B/G Pole vault- 9-00/ 6-06 then by 6

Spectator Fee: $10.00 per adult- $3.00 students
