The Hogoheegee Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Tuesday, June 1st at Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring, Va. The rain date is TBA

Participants - Girls and Boys Outdoor Track and Field Teams from Patrick Henry, Rural Retreat, Chilhowie, Holston, and Northwood
Admission - $5.00
Entries will need to be entered on milestat. Go to milestat.com, click on calendar at the top of the page, and scroll down until you get to the Hogoheegee District Outdoor Track and Field Championships and enter your kids in their events.
Entry Limits - Each school may only enter 3 athletes per individual event and one relay team per relay event.
***There are no district, region, or state standards this year
Entry Deadline - The deadline for getting your entries in will be Sunday, May 30th, at noon. The entries online will close at noon on Sunday, May 30th, and you will no longer be able to enter your kids after that time.
In Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, and Discus everyone will get three throws or jumps. Then the top six will advance to the finals for three more jumps or throws. The top five will score and the top four will advance to the region meet
Time Schedule:
1:45 - Coaches Meeting
2:00 - Girls Discus, Boys Shot, Girls High Jump, Girls and Boys Long Jump followed by Boys Discus, Girls Shot, Boys High Jump, Girls and Boys Triple Jump.
2:30 - Girls 4 x 800 relay
2:45 - Boys 4 x 800 relay
3:15 - Approximate time running events will start. We are going to try and get field events completed before starting running if we can. Once running events start it will be a rolling schedule

Awards
Trainer - A certified athletic trainer will be on site
Buses - Buses will park in the parking lot behind the field house.
Bullpen - The Bullpen will be located behind the discus cage and right above the shot put area. Athletes must report by the second call and will not be allowed to leave once they have checked in. They will be escorted to the starting line.
Timing - Timing will be FAT and will be done by Tim Johnson of Trojan Timing. Results will be announced but will not be posted We will not give the athletes their times at the finish line. Live results will be on Trojantiming.com as well as milestat.com. The results will also be posted on trojantiming.com and milestat.com following the meet.
Finish Line - All coaches, athletes, and spectators are instructed to stay away from the finish line area. Anyone walking near the camera might cause it to not work correctly. Coaches can be in the grass on the football field but keep your distance from the camera. If you have a question about results please come to the scoring booth.
Race Results - The top 4 individuals in each event plus the top 3 relay teams will advance to the Region 1D Track meet.

Region 1D Track and Field Championships - The Region 1D Track and Field Championships will be held at Eastside High School on Saturday, June 12th. Entries will be done on milestat.
