Track and Field Championship May 25-26, 2022

Wednesday May 25: Field Events and 4x800m Relay @ Colgan High School, Manassas, VA   2:00PM Start

Thursday May 26: Running Events FINALS @ Freedom-Woodbridge High School, Woodbridge,  1200 Start

1.0 Qualifying for the Class 6 Region B Championship Meet

1.1The top (6) individuals and the top (3) relays from each district advance to the Region B Meet.(Cardinal, Cedar Run and Commonwealth Districts)

1.2 Athletes who meet the 2022 Region B or Class 6 Standard in a VHSL sanctioned meet. 

PERFORMANCES ATTAINED IN CLUB SANCTIONED MEETS ARE NOT PERMITTED. 

Please make sure your rosters are up-to-date and names are spelled correctly.

2.2 Meet Password:OTREGB22

2.3 Entries must be completed by Saturday May 21, 2022 @ 5:00pm.  

After this time, entries will be closed. Please make sure your District Meet results have been posted on milestat before you do your entries.

2.4 THERE IS NO STRATCH MEETING.YOUR ENTRIES ARE DECLARED ONCE

      THE 
DEADLINE CLOSES.ENTER THIS CHAMPIONSHIP SO THAT YOUR ENTRIES ARE LEGAL.

2.6 THE SEEDED MEET PROGRAM WILL BE POSTED ON Monday May 23, 2022 by11:00am

2.7 The Declaration Rule is in effect. For example: you may enter an athlete in the 100m, 200m, and 4 x 400m, if you scratch the athlete from the 200m they may still run the 4x400m but you cannot add them to another event. If you are un-sure please contact me. However, if you enter an athlete in 4 running events plan on scratching during the meet that will otworkand the athlete will be deleted from the last events.

2.8 Rules: 2022 edition National Federation Rule Book and the 2021-2022 edition of VHSL Handbook

2.9 Fill out the (6) slots for your relays and on your relay cards.Relays are declared when you turn in your relay

card at check-in.

3.0 Qualifying for the Class 6 State Championship Meet

3.1 The top (4) individuals and the top (4) relays qualify for the Class 6StateChampionship Meet ... Class 6



State Meet is  Friday and Saturday. June 3-4, 2022  at Todd Stadium in Newport News, VA.

3.2 Please follow the guidelines for entering you athletes in the State Meet.

3.3 Dave Davis and Mike Feldman will verify state meet entries.

Pole Vault: Battlefield, Colgan, and Osbourn Park

Long Jump: Gar-Field and Osbourn

Triple Jump: Forest Park and Unity Reed

Shot Put: Hylton and Battlefield

Discus:Potomac and Freedom-South Riding

Relay Umpires: Gainesville, Freedom-WB, Champe, , Freedom-SR & Osbourn

Check-In: Osbourn Park

Awards: Gainesville, and Patriot (2) per school; put medals in envelopers

5.0 Awards:

5.1 Championship Trophy and Runner-Up per gender

5.2 Medals for the top three (3) Individuals and top three (3) Relays

Championship Patches awarded to the Champion Team.

Award envelopes can be picked up at the conclusion of themeet.
