Meet Information

High school meet featuring varsity, JV, and developmental races for boys & girls teams. We expect to limit the total number of teams in the varsity races to a maximum 30. Entries due by Saturday, October 4, 2003.


Just outside Charlottesville city limits, the Panorama Farms 5K course-- a frequent host to both the AA Region II meet and the AAA Northwest Region meet-- is all grass and challenging. (The University of Virginia CC teams also use the Panorama Farms site for their home meets).

Schedule

(Races are held later in day to accommodate state-wide SAT testing in a.m.):

1:00 p.m. packet pickup for coaches

1:30 p.m. Girls\' Developmental 3K race

2:00 p.m. Boys\' Developmental 3K race

2:30 p.m. Girls\' JV 5K race

3:15 p.m. Boys\' Varsity 5K race

3:45 p.m. Girls\' Varsity 5K race

4:30 p.m. Boys\' JV 5K race


Awards-- Developmental races (9th grade & under ONLY; unlimited number): Ribbons to top 10 finishers.

JV races (unlimited entries): Medal to winner and ribbons to next 9 finishers. Varsity races (minimum of 5 runners, max. of 7 per team): Trophy to winning team. Medals to all 7 members of top 3 teams. Top-15 t-shirts for top 15 finishers.


The varsity boys\' and girls\' races will cost $40 each. There is an additional $10 charge per JV team and $10 for developmental runners, or schools can enter all boys & girls races for a $100 entry fee.
