| Entry Fees & Payment Information | $350.00 per school (both teams) or $175 for a single gender. Small Schools: $25 per athlete/$35 per relay ***IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP RUN A FIELD EVENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A $50 DISCOUNT OFF YOUR ENTRY FEE. | Sanctioning Contact information for Meet Directors | Gar-Field invitational will be sanctioned for public schools from Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, District of Columbia, and North Carolina. Private schools must email Coach Dickerson to be cleared to avoid sanctioning issues.

| Entries | Each school is allowed 35 entries per gender (max 6 per event) not including relays. Schools are allowed one team per gender per relay event. Entries must be completed using the milestat.com entry system. Please adhere to VHSL rules: 3 running events and unlimited field events unless doing the 3200m run, then the athlete is limited to 2 running events. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Field Events | Field events will begin at 9am 4 attempts - no finals - for Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus - First legal attempt is measured. Thereafter the following minimum standards must be met. *Pole vault will NOT be contested at the meet* Athletes MUST check in prior to the beginning of the event and check out prior to leaving for their running event. Girls Shot Put followed by Boys Boys Discus Followed by Girls Girls Long Jump followed by Girls Triple Jump Boys Long Jump followed by Boys Triple Jump Boys High Jump followed by Girls

| Scoring & Awards | Scoring: 8 places 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Medals for top three individual place finishers and top three relays. | |||||||||||||||||||||
