Class 6 Region B Indoor Track and Field Championship 2025

1.0 Qualifying for the Region B Championship

1.1 The top (6) individuals and the top (3) relays from each district advance to the Region B Meet. Athletes who meet the Region B or Class 6 standard also qualify for the Region B Championship. All entries must have a mark. . Ties for 3rd place will advance to the Class 6 State Championship

PERFORMANCES ATTAINED IN CLUB SANCTIONED MEETS ARE NOT PERMITTED. If a club sanctioned meet performance is used; they will be deleted from entry. It is the coach's responsibility to ensure that all entries are accurate, verified and meet VHSL requirements.

2.0 Entering the Region B Championship Meet

2.1 All entries will be done on milestat. Please make sure your rosters are up-to-date and names are spelled correctly.

2.2 Meet Password: REGB25

2.3 ENTRIES MUST BE COMPLETED BY SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9, 2025 BY 2:00pm

After this time, entries will be closed. Please make sure your District Meet results have been posted on milestat before you do your entries.

2.4 THERE IS NO STRATCH MEETING.YOUR ENTRIES ARE DECLARED ONCE THE DEADLINE CLOSES.ENTER THIS CHAMPIONSHIP SO THAT YOUR ENTRIESARE LEGAL.

2.5 THE PERFORMANCE LIST WILL POSTED Monday February 10, 2025 by 3:00pm.

2.6 THE SEEDED MEET PROGRAM WILL BE POSTED BY Thursday February 13, 2025 by 4:00pm.

2.7The Declaration Rule is in effect. For example, you may enter an athlete in the 55m, 300m, and 4x 400m, if you scratch the athlete from the 300m they may still run the 4 x 400m but you cannot add them to another event. If you are un-sure please contact me. However, if you enter an athlete in 4 running events plan on scratching during the meet that will not work, and the athlete will be deleted from the last events.

2.8 Rules: 2024 edition National Federation Rule Book and the 2024-2025 edition of VHSL Handbook

2.9 Fill out all slots for your relays and on your relay cards.

2.10 Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

3.0 Qualifying for the Class 6 State Championship Meet

3.1 The top (3) individuals and the top (3) relays and auto qualifiers qualify for the Class 6 State Championship Meet on March 3-4, 2025 @ VA Beach Sports Center 1045 19th Street VA-B, VA 23451

3.2 Please follow the guidelines for entering you athletes in the State Meet.

3.3 Pete Augrom and Mike Feldman will verify state meet entries.

Pole Vault: Battlefield, Colgan and Osbourn Park

Long Jump: North Stafford and Potomac

Triple Jump: Mountain View and Osbourn

Shot Put: Hylton and Freedom-South Riding

Relay Umpires: Freedom-WB, Battlefield. Gar-Field

Awards: Battlefield, Freedom-SR, Colonial Forge (2) per school; put medals in envelopers

Check-In: Gainesville, Osbourn Park and Patriot

5.0 Awards:

5.1 Championship Trophy and Runner-Up per gender

5.2 Medals for the top three (3) Individuals and top three (3) Relays.

Award envelopes can be picked up at the conclusion of the meet
