Online Registration Instructions
DATE: Saturday, October 10, 2026
LOCATION: Workhouse Arts Center, 9518 Workhouse Way,Lorton
EVENTS:
5K for High School (9th to 12th grades, running up is allowed)
4K for Middle School (5th to 8th grades)
COURSE: The course starts and finishes at the Workhouse baseball field, and includes flat stretches of grass or pavement, and a challenging middle portion on the Laurel Hill mountain bike trails. See this link for a course map.
SCHEDULE: First race starts at 10:30 AM; subsequent races start on rolling schedule, approximately according to the times below. Athletes finishing in more than half an hour may face oncoming runners from the next race and should yield.

Registration deadline is Tuesday, 10/6/26.
AWARDS: For each race, trophies to first place teams and medals to top 5 individuals.
FEES:
Unattached individuals: $20 per athlete.
Teams: Sliding scale of $50 per 5 athletes, up to $400 max.
$100 for 6-10, $150 for 11-15, $200 for 16-20, $250 for 21-25, $300 for 26-30, $350 for 31-35, $400 for 36 and higher. Fees based on number registered as of October 6.

CONCESSIONS: Pre-packaged snacks and drinks will be available for cash purchase.
LOGISTICS: Port-a-potties and ample parking on site.
