Meet Information
WALKERS RUN
Walkers Run will be held Saturday, September 18 at Hungry Mother State Park, Marion, Virginia. Please send your entries to trojantiming@yahoo.com by Wednesday, September 15.
The entry fee is $60 (maximum) per school for high school teams ($30 for girls/$30 for boys). Individual entries are $3 per person. The entry fee for middle schools is $30. Make checks payable to Marion High School.
All middle school runners will receive ribbons. The top five runners will also receive medals. Team awards will be presented to the top 2 teams. JV competitors will receive the same awards as the middle school competitors.
The top 15 runners in the varsity races will receive medals. Team awards will be awarded to the top 2 teams.
Schedule of events:
8:45 Middle school boys (1.8 miles)
9:15 Middle school girls (1.8 miles)
9:45 Varsity Blue (A) Boys
10:15 Varsity Girls combined
10:45 Varsity White (B) Boys
11:15 JV Boys (3 miles)
11:45 JV Girls (3 miles)
