Distance Relays, Mondschein, Fludd and Jullien Win on first day of VT Challenge Feb 11, 2005

Virginia Tech\'s track & field teams completed the first day of the the Virginia Tech Challenge, which is held on a 200 meter banked track inside the Rector Fieldhouse on the Tech campus. The Hokies had three individual and two relay teams win. All three of the individual winners are from Tech\'s 22nd ranked men\'s team.

Cavaliers Set Season-Best Marks at Virginia Tech Challenge Feb 12, 2005

Virginia\'s David Sullivan smashed his own school record in the pole vault with a leap of 5.30m, hitting the NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the process and taking second place at the Virginia Tech Challenge today in Blacksburg. Sullivan, who set the school record last year with a 5.20m, was one of a handful of Cavaliers who hit personal best and season best marks this weekend, a tune-up for next week\'s ACC Championships.

JMU\'s Baxter, Cawley Punch Tickets To IC4A Indoor Championships Feb 12, 2005

Sophomore Dave Baxter (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) and junior Paul Cawley (Mount Pleasant, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) each met qualifying standards for the 2005 IC4A Championships with their performances at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend.
