Rachel "Socks" McArthur has been running well all season but unfortunately or fortunately for her she resides in the powerhouse northern region. But when we all got to see her at States, we got to see that she is the real deal and a force to be reckoned with statewide. She ran her best race of the year on a very cold day which makes her pr that much more impressive. She will be running down at NXR this week and we could actually see a sub 17 time! Depending on what time she runs compared to FL, could she be the first to break it this year? Regardless if she does or not, she is a no-brainer for this list.
