Several runners made the sophomore year jump it appears from their summer training and first race results from the 2013 cross country season. Several previously unranked sophomores find themselves in the top 25 rankings for the first time after strong season openers including Loudoun Valley's Andrew Hunter and Western Albemarle's Gannon WIllcutts.
