The 5A North Region championship looks like it will come down to a battle between four teams:
Patrick Henry (Ashland) is coming off a Conference 16 Championship in which they were able to put up more points than the rest of the field combined. The field events will go a long way in determining if they can continue their team success on the region level. The Patriots are led by junior Crishna Hooker, who comes in to the meet ranked first in the long and triple jump, second in the high jump, and fifth in the 55m hurdles.
