This Week's Nominees:
James Craig, Western Branch High School (Virginia): Put up a 62-4.5 to finish 4th at The 130th Penn Relays celebrating with America250, leading all shot putters nationally this week.
Christopher Hwang, Chantilly (Virginia): Won the discus at the Concorde District Meet #3 with a throw of 188-8, making him the top junior in Virginia in the event. Also took first in the shot put at Cassel's XBC Track Experience with a mark of 58-2.75, ranking him as the #2 junior in the state.
Davian Booker, Massaponax (Virginia): Clocked 36.90 to win the 300m hurdles at the Devin Brewer Invitational 2026, posting the fastest time nationally this week.
Garrett Jordan, Fluvanna County (Virginia): Swept multiple events at the Virginia Track Coaches Association Championship, winning the 400m in 47.63 and taking the 100m in 10.81. Also claimed victories in the triple jump (44-4) and finished second in the long jump (21-3.5), while adding a 200m win in 21.68 at Louisa 5 Team #3. Leads all Virginia juniors in both the 400m and triple jump.
Gideon Miear, Auburn (Virginia): Cleared 6-9 to win the high jump at the All-American Relays, the top mark by a sophomore in Virginia this season.
