#9 John Warren's Triple State Triple Jump
John boasts an impressive best VA #5 All-Time Indoors of 51-3 in the triple jump and a national outdoor title but his most impressive stat is that he has three outdoor state championships in the triple jump but in three different states. Having moved from Texas to Kansas to Virginia did not stop him from dominating the triple jump scene as he captured titles in all three of those locations in the span of a mere three years.
Each year we see athletes that make it way up the All-Time list and fortunately we also see national champions from Virginia but we rarely see an athlete win state titles in separate states, let alone three different ones. It is also very impressive, if you know HS track & field to know that John won a state in Texas as a sophomore and was second his freshman year as well. He is now off at the University of Missouri where he will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with in many states.
